Program Description
PGY-IV
As residents enter their PGY-IV year, the focus of clinical training shifts to working primarily with children. Approximately half of this year is spent in clinical training on the Winchester-I inpatient child psychiatry unit, with continued involvement with the child C-L team for one month. The other half of the year trains residents part time in an innovative in-home child psychiaty treatment model (IICAPs) while allowing them time for research training both in their mentor's lab as well as in specialized child psychiatric research clinics.
