Thank you for your interest in our Integrated Child, Adolescent, and Adult Residency Program. You may apply to this Yale program through ERAS starting September 1, 2008.
To be considered for the Integrated Program, applicants must also apply to the general Yale Residency Training Program in Psychiatry. If you are invited to interview with our program and the general residency program, we will make every effort to coordinate your interviews so that they take place on consecutive days. Interviews for the Integrated Program are conducted at the Yale Child Study Center (located across the street from both the main hospital and the adult psychiatry administrative offices) and typically run a full day. Interviewees usually meet with each of our three program directors individually and eat lunch with current residents. Efforts are made to match applicants with faculty interviewers who share their research or clinical interests. Please note that candidates are also asked to give a 30-45 minute presentation on their interview day. This presentation should be on a research topic of particular interest to you and is usually presented in PowerPoint format. Open to the Yale Child Study Center community, presentations are intended to offer applicants the opportunity to share the results of past research experiences or topics of future research interest with current residents and faculty in a collegial small group environment.
If you have questions about the application process, please contact Kathleen Czarniak, Integrated Child, Adolescent, and Adult Residency Coordinator, via phone (203-785-2516) or email (Kathleen.czarniak@yale.edu).
Sincerely,
Dorothy Stubbe, M.D.
