Dr. Hart received her Ph.D. in cognitive psychology from the University of Pittsburgh, with a concentration in neuroscience through the Center for the Neural Basis of Cognition. Currently, Dr. Hart is an Associate Research Scientist at the Yale University Child Study Center. Her clinical and research interests focus on reading development, skilled reading performance, and impairments in language and reading processes. Dr. Hart is particularly interested in children with complex reading profiles including difficulties with reading decoding, encoding, fluency, vocabulary, and/or comprehension.
