Dr Ritvo has worked in the area of autism and developmental disabilities, as a therapist and researcher, mainly with children until 2007. She continued teaching and research activities after closing her clinical practice. Dr. ritvo published numerous articles the area of Autism Spectrum Disorders. She Created the RAADS and RAADS-R, a self reporting scale to assist the clinicians in diagnosing autism spectrum disorders. The instrument has been cited in the medical literature numerous times, and has been translated into multiple languages.
